Buy in bulk. This is a surefire method of saving on diapers as many vendors agree to a discount if you opt to buy diapers or for that matter any product, in bulk. You can save at least a hundred dollars a year by doing this.

Online coupons. There are many websites that offer online coupons for customers looking for a discount. Visiting the companies’ website may reveal any such opportunity. Other agencies also act as middlemen and offer coupons on their sites which can be taken advantage of.

Online shopping. Online shopping can save a lot of money since there is no expenditure incurred for upkeep of a store or a supermarket. It is economical for the buyer as well because driving around for shopping will increase fuel costs. However hidden costs such as shipping costs must be taken into consideration while shopping online to prevent fraud.

Scour the market. Don’t settle for the first offer. Instead try asking about various prices at different stores. There are a large variety of diapers available and the prices may vary accordingly. Diaper services. A diaper service is a cleaning service. Instead of going out and buying myriad cloth diapers, you can hire a diaper service. This service also includes laundering, pick-up and drop-off. A diaper service has to follow some rigid guidelines given by the board of health there is no compromise as far as the quality of cleaning is concerned. They even go to the extent of properly sterilizing the diapers before redelivering them to their customers.

The “Bottom” line. Cloth diapers cost much less compared to disposable ones and if you are determined to be frugal and are ready to put in a little effort then cloth diapers are recommended in order to save money.
